XT Typing Tutor 1.0.2 is available in two editions. You should:

Choose the .NET Framework 2.0 Dependent edition for a fast working, and small sized program. This edition, however, requires the .NET Framework 2.0 to be installed on your computer. |

Choose the Standalone edition if you don't want to install the .NET Framework. It's size is significantly smaller than the Framework's size plus the small version's size. This edition works a little slower and is not compatible with the Win 98/ME platforms. |
